The SKY77753 Power Amplifier Module (PAM) is a fully matched, 26-pad surface mount (SMT) module developed for FDD LTE, TD-SCDMA, and TDD LTE applications. This small and efficient FDD LTE/ TD-SCDMA/ TDD LTE PAM integrates three power amplifier Tx paths, input and output matching, input switching for bands 34 and 39, output switching for bands 38, 40, and 41, and daisy-chained directional couplers in a single 5.0 mm x 3.5 mm x 0.9 mm package. SKY77753 meets the stringent spectral linearity requirements of FDD LTE/ TD-SCDMA/ TDD LTE modulations with high power-added efficiency for power output to 28 dBm.

The SKY77753 PAM is manufactured with Skyworks’ InGaP GaAs Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) Bi-FET process that provides for all positive voltage DC supply operation while maintaining high efficiency and good linearity. No regulated voltage is required. No external supply side switch is needed as typical “off” leakage is a few microamperes with full primary voltage supplied from the battery. The SKY77753 Power Amplifier Module can save handset designers significant phone board space and design-cycle time.
